Ahead of Easter, FC Barcelona embraced one of Catalonia's sweetest and most beloved traditions — the Easter 'mona'. Traditionally, godparents gift their godchildren chocolate figures on Easter Monday, which become the centerpiece of family gatherings.

This year, the club introduced its official 'mona': a giant chocolate figure of the club’s mascot, CAT. Renowned chocolatier Christian Escribà crafted this exclusive piece, capturing every detail with love, fun, and the sweetness that embodies the Blaugrana spirit.

The presentation took place on the top floor of Casa SEAT in Barcelona. The event saw the presence of basketball player Darío Brizuela and the mascot creators, brothers Jordi and Carles Grangel. The figure highlights both the club’s identity and its connection to Catalan traditions.

This initiative underscores how the football club actively supports local cultural customs, enriching its projects and strengthening ties with supporters. FC Barcelona fans now have a unique chance to experience Catalan heritage through a sweet club symbol.
