Raphinha, the Brazilian winger of Barcelona, remains a key player in Hansi Flick’s lineup despite persistent interest from Saudi club Al-Hilal. The Saudi side, which has pursued the 29-year-old for years, is reportedly prepared to offer around €80 million for his transfer and increase his salary fourfold compared to his current Barcelona contract.
Currently, Raphinha has no intention of leaving and is focused on continuing his career at Barça, where his contract runs until 2028. Hansi Flick values him highly and views him as a crucial part of his tactical setup.
The player is recovering from a torn right biceps femoris sustained during the World Cup, having featured only in Brazil’s first two matches of the tournament. He is expected to be fit in time for pre-season training, allowing him to reintegrate fully into the team and compete for his place in the starting XI.
While Al-Hilal, backed by the sovereign wealth fund PIF, remains interested and might renew their efforts to sign Raphinha, the winger is currently focused on his rehabilitation and plans at Barcelona over the coming years.
