Raphinha is currently one of Barcelona’s key players and has repeatedly expressed his desire to stay at the Catalan club.

However, in the summer of 2026, two major Saudi Pro League clubs, Al Hilal and Al Nassr, have shown strong interest in the 29-year-old Brazilian winger. According to Mundo Deportivo, they are prepared to offer Barcelona €80 million for his transfer.

Most is the financial package proposed to Raphinha personally: the Saudi clubs are ready to quadruple his current net salary at Camp Nou. Nonetheless, Raphinha signed a contract renewal in May 2025 running until 2028 and is currently focused on representing Brazil at the World Cup, coached by Carlo Ancelotti.

Saudi interest is not new; it first emerged in 2024 and again last summer, both times ending with Raphinha choosing to remain in Catalonia. The player himself admitted, "The offer we received from Saudi Arabia was very tempting. It would have solved not only my personal life but also that of my parents, my son, and many others."

That Al Nassr’s coach Jorge Jesus has long admired Raphinha, and the squad includes former Barcelona players Joao Felix and Iñigo Martinez. Meanwhile, at Al Hilal, Simone Inzaghi’s team features stars like Karim Benzema and Malcom.

For now, negotiations are preliminary, and Raphinha’s focus remains on continuing his career at Barcelona and performing for Brazil on the international stage.
