Barcelona officially revealed their home kit for the 2026/27 season at one of the city’s most iconic cultural venues — the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA). This choice highlights the football club’s deep connection to Catalonia’s cultural and historical heritage.
The kit marks a return to the classic blue and garnet stripes that have defined Barça’s identity for decades, blended with modern shades and color palettes to add freshness and dynamism. The campaign’s slogan, «Blaugrana Heartbeat. The passion that moves us,» underscores the energy and emotion shared by players, fans, and the entire club.
A key innovation for this season is the introduction of a new typography named FC Barcelona Modernista, specially created for the club and inspired by Catalan modernism — a significant cultural art movement of the region. This visual identity aims to strengthen the connection between the club’s image, the city of Barcelona, and Catalonia’s cultural legacy.
Golden accents play an important role in the kit’s design, featured on elements such as the club crest, sports brand logo, and player numbers, adding elegance and a sense of history. The shorts are a deep navy blue, completing the look with a classic and refined touch.
The launch event featured music, dance, and audiovisual elements, creating an immersive atmosphere highlighting the bond between players and supporters. Star players from both the men’s and women’s squads, including Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Pedri, Gavi, Dani Olmo, and Aitana Bonmatí, were part of the presentation.
The new kit is available now in official stores, priced between €125 and €175 depending on the version.
Additionally, the club is preparing updates for the away and third kits. Reports suggest the away kit will once again incorporate Kobe Bryant’s logo and feature gold-inspired numbering influenced by the Los Angeles Lakers. The third kit is expected to pay tribute to the memorable Kappa kits worn by the club between 1992 and 1997, with typography inspired by that era.
Barcelona’s 2026/27 home kit stands as more than just a matchday jersey; it’s a cultural statement reflecting Catalonia’s heritage and the emotional unity of the club and its supporters. This kit sets a foundation for Barça’s identity both on the pitch and within the broader artistic and urban landscape.
