FC Barcelona continue to focus on securing Julian Alvarez as their primary target to replace Robert Lewandowski.

According to Spanish media, the 26-year-old Argentine forward has publicly declared his intention to leave Atlético Madrid, expressing his dream of playing for Barcelona. The Catalan club is pushing to persuade Atlético to open negotiations.

Meanwhile, Barcelona is exploring other options, including reaching out to representatives of Harry Kane, the Bayern Munich striker, to gauge his intentions.

Alexander Isak, the 26-year-old Liverpool striker, has also drawn the club’s interest. The Swedish forward’s first season at Anfield was hampered by injuries, limiting him to 22 appearances and four goals. However, at the World Cup in the U.S., Isak has shown signs of form improvement, scoring once and providing three assists in three games for Sweden.

Isak’s market value has reportedly dropped after a difficult debut year in England, potentially making him a more feasible alternative. Still, convincing Liverpool to sell him will be challenging, as his contract runs until 2031.

Currently, Alvarez remains Barcelona’s clear priority, while Kane and Isak are seen as alternative plans if negotiations for the Argentine don’t succeed.
