Joan Laporta's presidential pre-campaign tour around Catalonia passed through the Por Sitges Resort hotel in Sitges, where he met with over 200 Barcelona supporters.

He provided a summary of his management and addressed concerns. During an event with a marked Cruyffian tone, Laporta received a commemorative tile bearing his name, which will soon be installed in Passatge Johan Cruyff, a street located on the Avenue of Football Stars near the Aiguadolç Municipal Football Field.

The tile was handed to him by Alejandro Sacrisán, son of former player Eusebio, who plays for Sitges and was going to train afterward. The event was organized with the collaboration of the Sitges Veterans Association, which organizes the Johan Cruyff Memorial.

The former president was accompanied by many members of his candidacy team and former club executives such as Enric Masip and Gabriel Martínez.

Laporta stated that the club is objectively and indisputably better than it was five years ago, thanks to management that allowed overcoming a critical economic situation, regaining institutional credibility, and returning to the top.

Good management is not a matter of chance but results from constant work, brave decisions, and the commitment of a management team that puts the club’s emblem above any other interest.

He called for votes and received many signatures of support. "The club must not fall into inexperienced hands. It is necessary to reaffirm institutional, social, and economic stability, complete the new Spotify Camp Nou project, consolidate a modern, professional, and high-level governance model, maintain sporting ambition in all sections, guarantee the ownership model of supporters, and continue defending the club’s essence and commitment to democracy, freedom, and the Catalan language and culture."
