Barcelona is close to officially announcing the signing of promising Belgian winger Jesse Bisiwu, currently playing for Club Brugge’s youth team.

While most complex aspects of the deal are finalized, Barcelona is still waiting to resolve some final details before revealing the signing.

The club views Bisiwu as a long-term investment, with no immediate plans for him to join coach Hansi Flick’s first team next season. He will begin in Barcelona’s reserve squad, where he must prove himself amid strong competition from other La Masia prospects.

This approach mirrors the club’s previous deal with Roni Bardghji, offering Bisiwu time to develop before becoming a first-team option.
