Brazilian forward Raphinha, one of Barcelona's captains, was the protagonist of a motivational talk on the club's official YouTube channel.
Following a 4-0 defeat in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals against Atlético Madrid, Barça fans saw their hopes to defend the title fade. However, Raphinha remains confident that a comeback at Spotify Camp Nou is possible. He stated that the team is ready for a tough match and believes they can overturn the deficit.
Raphinha also highlighted the exceptional atmosphere in the locker room, describing it as a family environment, which he considers a key factor in the club’s success over the past two seasons under Hansi Flick.
He confessed that being a captain is a great honor, and since joining, he has always tried to contribute to the team. Last season, he was a top performer with 34 goals and 26 assists in 57 games across all competitions.
This season, Raphinha has dealt with muscular injuries, missing 13 matches, but he is currently recovering and feels good both physically and mentally.
