Barcelona is preparing for major changes in its attacking lineup this summer, and this has shaped the potential exit of Roony Bardghji.

According to reports from Spanish media, the club is expected to give the young Swedish winger the chance to leave this summer. Bardghji, one of last summer’s standout signings, faces stiff competition following arrivals like Karim Adeyemi, Jesse Bisiwu, and Anthony Gordon.

The player himself has requested a move in search of regular playing time. Early June, Barcelona informed him that he was free to explore his options, including loan or permanent transfers with a buy-back clause, with the club now favoring a permanent sale considering his strong market value.

A decisive conversation with head coach Hansi Flick is pending, where it is expected that Flick will explain that a move away might be best for his development, while leaving the door open should Bardghji choose to stay, albeit with limited minutes.

Interest in Bardghji is widespread. More than ten offers reportedly stand on the table from clubs across England — Brighton, Leeds, Aston Villa, Southampton, and Fulham — and several European clubs including Juventus, Ajax, Marseille, and Porto. Borussia Dortmund has also floated his name as part of the negotiations for Adeyemi.

A final decision on Bardghji’s future is expected soon with his arrival in Barcelona next week.
