Joan Sentelles, FC Barcelona's Operations Director, acknowledged that the issue of reduced visibility in the Gol Nord area of Camp Nou was anticipated by the club due to the placement of a broadcasting structure.

Approximately 350 seats are affected, though this number decreases to around 150 during La Liga matches as the structure can be adjusted. To manage fan experience, Barcelona has blocked sales for these seats, as was done in recent games.

The problem mainly impacts front rows, with visibility significantly improving from about the fifth or sixth row upward. Proposals to lower the stand's height were rejected because of their overall negative effect on stadium sightlines.

The club is exploring compromise measures, such as relocating photographers and rearranging the broadcasting setup, but Sentelles emphasized that solutions will neither be instant nor simple.

Additionally, Sentelles outlined plans to expand the Johan Cruyff Stadium, driven by the growth of women's football and the need to increase capacity and improve access, including public transportation enhancements.

This ongoing challenge at Camp Nou underlines the complex balance between broadcast requirements and spectator comfort, with the club openly addressing the issue and working towards improvements essential for enhancing the matchday experience.
