Joan Laporta presented 8,171 signed votes from club members supporting his candidacy, fewer than five years ago but significantly more than his rival Víctor Font.

He promised to complete the stadium with 105,000 seats, making it the largest football arena in Europe and an architectural gem. Plans also include a new Palau, expected to be an outstanding facility attracting a large audience.

Sport-wise, Laporta highlighted work with coach Flick and sporting director Deco, aiming to build one of the world’s highest-valued squads while preserving the Cruyffian philosophy. He emphasized the importance of a transparent, visible, and consensual board that takes responsibility and makes decisions.

Laporta believes that with his experience, the club can enter a new prosperous phase if reelected, giving fans hope for successes on the pitch and infrastructural growth.
