Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo firmly dismissed any speculation about leaving the club in the summer of 2026, stating there is nothing to discuss regarding a potential exit.

"The Catalans can rest assured. From my side, there is nothing to say," Olmo responded when asked about transfer rumors and reported interest from Arsenal.

Speaking after Euro 2024, Olmo recounted his return to Barcelona, the club where he started in the academy. He explained that he only became aware of Barça’s serious interest after the tournament ended, especially after Deco’s visit to Leipzig, which convinced him of their commitment.

He also described the club’s internal environment as very close-knit: "Inside, the club is another world — very familiar and like a family with people who have been here their whole lives. The pressure to win constantly is tough but part of the club’s culture and fan expectations. These demands are also part of my personal motivation."

Olmo welcomed new signings like Anthony Gordon and mentioned the possible arrival of Julian Alvarez, emphasizing that the best players are always needed to help raise the team’s level.
