Published 35 minutes ago on 11/02/2026. By Michel Duran. FC Barcelona have confirmed that Marcus Rashford will be unavailable for Thursday’s first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Atlético Madrid. The England international is experiencing pain and discomfort in his left knee after sustaining a blow during the match with Mallorca, and the club have opted not to risk him as a precaution.

The club issued a medical update and shared it via Twitter on 11 February 2026, noting the knee issues stemming from that incident against Mallorca. As a result Rashford will miss the upcoming fixture at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.

It was also reported that Rashford did not take part in today’s group training session along with Raphinha. The Brazilian remains sidelined due to a hamstring overload, so losing both players ahead of tomorrow’s semi is a significant setback for Barcelona.

The on‑loan Manchester United forward has been a major attacking contributor this season, registering more than 20 direct goal contributions. With Raphinha and Rashford unavailable, manager Hansi Flick will need to reshuffle his options on the left.

Potential solutions include starting Ferran Torres on the left while Robert Lewandowski leads the line as the No.9, or deploying Fermin Lopez or Dani Olmo in a false‑winger role on that flank.
