Joan Laporta shared that he witnessed the Andalusian midfielder's recovery and now that the tough times are over, everyone should look forward. Gavi suffered and cried but showed great character and was constantly eager and frustrated because he wanted to play. Laporta mentioned that the recovery was possible thanks to the support from medical staff, coaches, and the player's family.
