Fermín López continues his recovery from a fracture of the fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot, an injury that sidelined him from the World Cup.

During the first month of rehabilitation, the player shared images on Instagram showing he is now able to walk with the aid of crutches. He accompanied the post with two quotes—one from Alfred Pennyworth and another from the Epistle to the Romans—expressing his resilient mindset.

The surgery took place on June 19, and the club’s medical staff estimated a layoff of around three months. If the planned timeline holds, López could return to the pitch by mid-August.

While most Barcelona players will resume preseason training on July 13 under coach Hansi Flick, López remains focused on completing the various phases of his rehabilitation. He regularly updates fans about his progress on social media.
