Barcelona has identified young French forward Eli Junior Kroupi as their primary alternative to Julián Álvarez in the transfer market.
Although Kroupi has not yet broken into the senior French national team and currently plays for the under-21 side, he is regarded as one of the most promising young forwards of his generation. His strengths include shooting, technique, and passing. However, other clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, and Arsenal are also showing interest in him.
Barcelona has been tracking Kroupi since before his move to Bournemouth. Despite his potential, he is not yet at the level of Álvarez, who remains the top target for bolstering Barcelona’s attack. Additionally, winger Mikel Oyarzabal from Real Sociedad is also considered as a possible alternative, although he recently expressed satisfaction with his current club.
Eli Junior Kroupi stands out as a young talent Barcelona might pursue if the transfer of Julián Álvarez does not materialize.
