Striker Dušan Vlahović remains a free agent after his contract with Juventus expires on June 30. According to Spanish media, his representatives have offered him to Barcelona, and the club is aware of the financial terms but has not taken further steps in recent weeks.

The Serbian forward is asking for about eight million euros per season, negotiable between fixed salary and bonuses, along with a minimum two-year contract. Juventus has proposed around five million euros to try retaining him.

Barcelona’s main focus is signing Julián Álvarez, and the club is prepared to wait for the outcome of the negotiations with Atlético Madrid. However, Vlahović is considered a potential backup if the Álvarez deal is delayed or falls through. Additionally, the club is considering the possibility that Ferran Torres might depart. Although Torres is reluctant to leave, interest from PSG could change this, and Vlahović could then be a zero-cost alternative with a profile similar to Lewandowski, who previously fulfilled a key offensive role.

Besides Barcelona, Bayern Munich, several Premier League clubs, and Napoli have shown interest in Vlahović. Contacts with Barcelona have remained minimal, limited to information exchange, and the club has made clear that he is not a priority signing.

Vlahović remains one of the most appealing free striker options in the market, and Barcelona continues to monitor his situation without pushing forward aggressively.
