Barcelona, in partnership with Nike and Kobe Bryant’s brand, is set to release a special edition away kit for the 2026/27 season, marking their second collaboration.
Leaked images reveal a predominantly black design with a purple gradient called 'Field Purple' on the shorts, a shade famously linked to the Los Angeles Lakers, where Kobe Bryant established his legacy.
The kit features an iridescent finish on both the Kobe Sheath logo and the Barcelona crest. The collar adopts a style similar to Nike’s national team jerseys worn during the recent World Cup. Inside the collar, the phrase "Leave the game better than you found it" pays tribute to one of Kobe Bryant's memorable retirement statements.
Though not officially unveiled yet, the new jersey is scheduled for release at the end of July 2026. Last season’s gold-themed special edition was highly popular and became one of Barcelona’s best-selling products. The club expects this new edition to attract similar global commercial interest and strengthen its merchandise sales.
