FC Barcelona has officially renewed the contract of 16-year-old midfielder Artem Rybak, one of La Masia's promising talents. The contract was signed in the presence of the club’s youth football director José Ramón Alesanco, highlighting the player's significance to the academy.

Artem Rybak represents Ukraine and plays for their under-16 national team. He joined Barcelona's academy four years ago after leaving his home country due to the ongoing conflict. Throughout his time at La Masia, he has shown considerable progress and made his debut last season with Juvenil B.

The main focus for Rybak will be to consolidate his place in Barcelona's youth team during the 2026/27 season, aiming for further growth. This contract extension aligns with the club's policy to secure the core of the under-16 team coached by David Sánchez.

Before Rybak, contract renewals have been granted to goalkeeper Elyott Daussy, defenders Luca Pérez, Guiu Xuclà and Ahmed Abarkane, midfielders Hugo Garcés, Ignasi Bassas, Oscar Medina and Unai Balmón, as well as forward Noah Garcia, who recently returned from a loan spell at Sabadell.

The new contract marks continued trust from the club in Artem Rybak's potential and supports his ongoing development within Barcelona's structure.
