Barcelona is set to extend the contract of Ebrima Tunkara, a 16-year-old talent from La Masia, who will be integrated into Barça Atlètic for the upcoming season.
Tunkara has already featured for Barça Atlètic and the U19 squad. The contract renewal includes doubling his release clause from €10m to €20m, a measure designed to strengthen the club’s position amid growing interest from other teams.
He has shown promise playing for Spain in the U17 European Championship and is expected to be involved in first-team preseason activities, especially due to the absence of several senior players participating in the 2026 World Cup.
