FC Barcelona continues to expand its commercial presence through Barça Licensing & Merchandising (BLM), the company responsible for managing the club's retail business.

The newly opened Barça Botiga in Girona is located at 3 Pujada del Pont de Pedra, in the heart of the Barri Vell district. The store covers 100 square meters over two floors and offers the full range of official club products, including kits, merchandise, and collections for men, women, and children.

The store incorporates elements related to the local identity, featuring ceramic floor tiles inspired by the colors and symbols of Girona and Catalonia. Additionally, the store houses a hand-painted mural inspired by the Tapestry of Creation, a key heritage piece from Girona Cathedral.

With the Girona store, Barcelona now operates 15 own retail stores directly and has 10 licensed outlets. The retail business has been a strategic area since BLM's creation in 2018. During the 2022-23 season, eight new own stores were opened, including locations like Spotify Camp Nou, Passeig de Gràcia, the airports of Barcelona and Madrid, and more.

The growth of BLM has been driven primarily by the new agreement with Nike signed in 2024. This contract allowed Barcelona to gain key assets, especially control over a significant part of international e-commerce for official products. This expansion has boosted commercial revenues, with the club expecting to surpass €200 million in retail revenue for the 2025-26 season, exceeding budget forecasts.

Club president Joan Laporta has highlighted the strategic importance of this commercial expansion for Barcelona's financial sustainability.
