FC Barcelona officially announced the signing of a new contract with Ghanaian midfielder Aziz Issah. The 20-year-old player, who spent two seasons on loan at Barça Atlètic, has now signed an agreement until June 2028 with an option to extend for another year.

Aziz Issah was born on November 20, 2005, in Ghana. He joined the Catalan club from Dreams FC through a permanent transfer. The new contract was signed following a medical check-up, in the presence of FC Barcelona’s Youth Football Director José Ramón Alexanko.

In the 2025/26 season, Issah played 20 matches under the management of Juliano Belletti for Barça Atlètic, scoring 4 goals and providing 1 assist. This summer, the club added several players to Barça Atlètic, including Hamza Abdelkarim, Joni Hernández, Juan Ybarra, Ignasi Quer, Javi Castro, and Josué Caicedo, alongside promotions from the youth ranks.
