Anna Lewandowska, wife of former FC Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski, posted a heartfelt message on Instagram following the family’s announced move to Chicago.

"I’ve been thinking for a long time about what to write here. I could post a smiling photo, say 'we are moving on to something new' and pretend everything is perfect. But it’s not. I want to be completely honest: a big change is ahead, moving to Chicago. Although I should be feeling excitement, today I want to say one thing — I am damn scared," she admitted.

She described the past weeks as an emotional rollercoaster: Barcelona became her home, her safe place which she loved with all her heart. The thought of packing up again, leaving behind what she has built, and starting over is simply terrifying.

As a mother, she bears immense stress, worrying about the children, their emotions, new school, and adapting to a completely new world. She emphasized that life with a professional athlete is not just glamour; it also involves hardships and family commitments.

"I stand behind Robert like a wall and support him with all my strength because we are a team. But as a woman, I have the right to feel fear and be overwhelmed. Today, I will not pretend otherwise," Lewandowska wrote.

She concluded by addressing anyone undergoing fearful life changes, reminding them it’s normal to not always be strong and happy. Anna will continue developing her business, returning to Edan Studios, and expanding her projects. She also looks forward to returning to Barcelona for training and camps.

This post reveals that behind the sports career shine, there are genuine human emotions and family difficulties in the Lewandowski family, showing mutual respect and support beyond the pitch.
