After the last two defeats against Atlético and Girona, which included controversial refereeing decisions, and following two days off to disconnect, FC Barcelona players returned to training this Thursday, already focused on the upcoming Sunday match against Levante at Spotify Camp Nou (16:15).

Barcelona will face Levante a day after Real Madrid, the new leader with two points more than Barça, visits Osasuna at El Sadar stadium.

To raise the team’s performance beyond analysis and discussions with his players, coach Hansi Flick will count on two new reinforcements: Pedri and Marcus Rashford. The Canary Islander, who missed the last six Barça matches due to a muscle injury, trained with the group, as did the Englishman, who was absent in the last two defeats. Both are expected to be included in the squad against Levante.

After Pedri and Rashford return, Gavi will be the next to rejoin group training, expected in March. However, there is no set date yet for Christensen’s return.
