With nine days left until the Women’s Clásico quarterfinal in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, FC Barcelona has sold over 25,000 tickets for the match against Real Madrid. The game is scheduled for April 2 at the Spotify Camp Nou, Barcelona’s iconic stadium.
This will be the third encounter between Barça and Real in eight days, following two matches in Madrid – the Champions League return leg on March 25 and the Spanish league match on March 29. Since Real’s women’s team Tacón entered the scene in 2019, Barcelona has dominated with 23 wins out of 24 encounters and a goal difference of 92–11.
Due to stadium renovation restrictions, the 2022 attendance record of 91,533 spectators cannot be surpassed this time, but the club aims to approach the current maximum capacity of 62,652. Tickets start at 25 euros on the club’s website, with premium packages offering museum access, official scarves, and VIP services.
These record-breaking ticket sales demonstrate the rising impact of women’s football, while Barça Femení continues to deliver sporting and commercial successes, boosting the club’s stature on the European stage.
