Starting March 30, the Estadi Johan Cruyff will host the Barça Academy World Cup, bringing together more than 2,100 boys and girls from 29 countries. Over four days, participants representing 42 different Barça Academies and Camps will compete in 690 matches across seven age groups, including female U12 and U14 categories.
A total of 192 teams will take part, with the tournament inauguration led by club president Rafa Yuste and goalkeeper Cata Coll, an ambassador for this edition. Another ambassador, Joan Garcia, will be absent due to a call-up to the Spanish national team.
Beyond the intense football action, the event features a fan zone, live shows, and diverse food trucks. Sponsors like Bimbo and Konami add entertainment with shooting accuracy challenges and virtual football games.
The Barça Academy World Cup is more than a competition—it’s a global platform for young players to gain invaluable experience and immerse themselves in the Barça football philosophy.
