Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta openly expressed his desire for Robert Lewandowski to remain with the club after the upcoming elections. In response, the Polish striker showed his support for Laporta and trust in his long-term project.

Despite mutual goodwill, Lewandowski has not yet decided on renewing his contract. At 37 years old, the forward said he isn't rushing his decision and plans to carefully consider all options by the end of the season.

Lewandowski emphasized the importance of stability and confidence in the club’s project, noting that although he joined recently, he has already sensed the ambition and motivation within the team. For him, trust in management and a positive atmosphere on and off the pitch are key.

Therefore, the striker’s future is closely tied to the outcome of the presidential elections and Barcelona’s plans ahead. If Laporta remains president, the club has a chance to keep one of its leaders for another season, boosting confidence and competition for trophies.
