Rafael Louzán, president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), expressed strong confidence that the 2030 FIFA World Cup final, to be hosted by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, will be held in Spanish territory. Among the candidate venues are Camp Nou in Barcelona, Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, and the stadium in Casablanca.

Louzán stated, "It would be unthinkable that Spain is not the venue for the World Cup final. There should be no doubt that Spain must host the final because this World Cup originates in Spain and Portugal, and Morocco joined later."

He added that FIFA has the final say on the location, highlighting that Madrid’s stadium is spectacular, while Barcelona’s is nearing completion and will have a 25,000 spectator capacity advantage, which is significant.

Spain leads the organization of the 2030 World Cup with a 55% stake, and according to Louzán, the country will defend its interests to ensure the final is played on Spanish soil.

These statements emphasize the importance of Spain’s infrastructure projects, including Camp Nou and Santiago Bernabéu, ahead of the 2030 tournament and reflect Spain’s leading role in this international football event.
