Barça members who want to run for the club presidency applied on Sunday at the OAB (Office of Attention to Barcelonism) for the forms needed to gather the 2,337 signatures required to become candidates.

The deadline to submit signatures is 21:00 on March 2. On Monday, members of the various pre-candidate teams went to the OAB to pick up the printed forms and begin collecting endorsements.

A recurring question is who pays for the forms. The text states that the first 5,000 are covered by the club. The FC Barcelona statutes additionally mention the provision free of charge of double the required amount — that is, 4,674. Beyond that number, the remaining prints are paid for by the pre-candidacies.

Rates by blocks of forms are: 10,000 — €1,293.26; 20,000 — €2,453.52; 30,000 — €3,594.78; 40,000 — €5,635.05; 50,000 — €7,556.58; 60,000 — €9,074.35.

Regarding orders, Joan Laporta requested 60,000 forms, Víctor Font 50,000, Xavier Vilajoana 30,000 and Marc Ciria 10,000. Marc Ciria was the only pre-candidate who went that Monday to collect the forms.
