Barcelona is calm regarding the potential signing of Bernardo Silva. According to Spanish media, the player has made the move to offer his services to the Catalan club, but the club clarifies that he is not considered a priority reinforcement in this transfer window.

The 31-year-old Portuguese midfielder, formerly of Manchester City, is highly regarded for his quality and playing level. However, Barcelona's midfield is already well-stocked, with the emergence of Marc Bernal and the excellent recovery of Gavi. Marc Casadó is reportedly the most likely midfielder to leave the club this summer.

The club’s main focus remains strengthening the attack, primarily finding a new No. 9 to replace Robert Lewandowski. Additionally, Bernardo’s fit on the wings is not considered ideal, which further reduces the urgency for his signing.

Recently, Bernardo has been linked with Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid, but Barcelona remains composed and clear-minded. Should a deal materialize that suits both parties, the transfer is possible. However, Barcelona will not rush and will prioritize other targets, especially since Bernardo is a free agent who has said he will join the club that wants him the most.

His agent, Jorge Mendes, is someone Barcelona finds easy to negotiate with. Still, no definitive steps have been taken yet from the Catalan side regarding this transfer.
