FC Barcelona aims to close two important financial transactions before the end of the fiscal year on June 30, 2026.

The first deal is the near completion of Ansu Fati’s transfer to Monaco for €11 million. The payment will be made in two agreed installments, allowing Barcelona to record the revenue in the current accounting period. Fati signed a four-year contract with Monaco following a productive Ligue 1 season where he scored 11 goals.

The second involves extending defender Andreas Christensen’s contract for two more seasons. The agreement includes a clause permitting either party to terminate after the first season by mutual consent. The renewal announcement is expected between Monday and Tuesday, with the official signing ceremony to take place in President Joan Laporta’s office after his inauguration on July 1.

Both operations are significant for enhancing the club’s financial standing, providing greater flexibility in the upcoming transfer window and supporting strategic economic goals.

Barcelona continues its efforts to stabilize finances and expand operational scope in the player market, a key priority in the new presidential term under Laporta.
