Spanish media report that Barcelona is interested in promising Racing Club defender Jorge Salinas. Recent claims that he has already signed are denied, with Mundo Deportivo clarifying the club would not pay more than €4 million for him.
Barcelona is clear about not entering a bidding war. Other clubs interested include Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Bologna, Newcastle United, and PSG.
If signed, Salinas might spend the next season on loan at Racing Club.
