Ansu Fati, currently on loan at Monaco, has taken an unexpected step by debuting as a singer with his first single "Sea como sea," released under Music Brokers.

The musical project began during the 2025/26 season. After trainings with Monaco, Fati traveled to a studio in Nice to work with producer Gambinoalaprod, channeling the emotional intensity of his football career into music. The track fuses three styles reflecting his biography: afrobeats related to his birthplace Bissau, reggaeton from Andalusia where he grew up, and South African amapiano.

The single's release coincides with a period of uncertainty about his future status. Although Barcelona and Monaco agreed on a purchase option when arranging his loan last summer, details remain unresolved, including a potential buy-back clause for Barcelona and a percentage on a future sale.

"Many people think they know my story because of my goals; what they will hear in my music is the other half," Fati said about his new creative path. He also noted the release happening during the World Cup was not planned, but reflects the life phase he is currently living.

By embracing this new role, Fati reveals the multifaceted nature of his identity beyond football, expressing his personal and professional ambitions through music.
