Eric Garcia addressed Marc Cucurella's move to Real Madrid, emphasizing that there is no bitterness in the Barcelona locker room and players support friends' important career decisions.
"It's the transfer window, and players move between teams. I think it's only natural. We're happy for our teammates if it's the move they want. There was also the news about Victor [Munoz], and we're happy for him," Garcia said.
He added that jokes with Cucurella might be more careful now, but "He's a great bloke, and if he's decided it's best for his future, then go for it."
Assessing Real Madrid's signings, including Cucurella and Bernardo Silva, Garcia acknowledged their quality but highlighted Barcelona's strong reinforcements as well, particularly Anthony Gordon. The winger is very quick and relentless in pressing.
Regarding Julian Alvarez, Garcia was cautious about transfer speculation but clear in his praise: "Yes, of course, he's a world-class player."
