Alan Godoy, the 23-year-old forward from the Canary Islands, is under contract with FC Barcelona until June 30, 2027. He joined the club during the winter transfer window of the 2024/25 season from Eldense and quickly integrated into the team, starting the first six matches and scoring his first goal in February 2025 against Arenteiro.
However, a muscle injury sidelined him for seven matches, slowing his progress. He finished the season with nine appearances and three goals for Barcelona. In July 2025, Barcelona sent Godoy on loan to the Portuguese side Estrela da Amadora, where he made six Primeira Liga appearances without scoring or assisting.
In January 2026, Barcelona agreed to end his loan early, and Godoy joined CE Sabadell, a club fighting for promotion to LaLiga Hypermotion. He played 18 matches with Sabadell, scoring one goal and providing one assist. His lone goal was decisive — a last-minute winner against Marbella, in a match where Sabadell played almost the entire game with ten men following an early red card to central defender Kaiser.
Godoy completed his loan stint at Sabadell with their confirmed promotion to Segunda División, though he did not feature in the final 4-0 win against Zamora. Now back at Barcelona, Godoy faces uncertainty as he awaits clarity on his next destination and role for the 2026/27 season.
Given the attacking competition and his intermittent playing time impacted by injuries and loans, Godoy's position within Barcelona’s squad is undetermined. The club will consider sporting plans and the player's development needs when deciding his future role.
