The Spain U-18 team, coached by David Tenorio, will gather from March 1 to 4 in Los Ángeles de San Rafael (Madrid) for training sessions aimed at preparing for the 2027 U-19 European Championship qualifiers.

The tournament will be held in Croatia from March 25 to 31, with England, Croatia, and Bulgaria as opponents. The coach announced a broad list of 26 players, including eight from Barcelona.

Notably, goalkeeper Iker Rodríguez returns after recovering from a shoulder injury and celebrating his 18th birthday last Sunday. He has already played a couple of matches with Juvenil A at a good level and was a regular in the U-15, U-16, and U-17 national teams.

Other Barcelona representatives are defender Álex Campos, midfielders Pedro Rodríguez, Pedro Villar, Guille Fernández, and Toni Fernández, and forwards Nuhu Fofana and Lorenzo Oerli.

Although this is Round 1 for the 2027 U-19 Euros, players born in 2008 will participate. That is, the U-18 team will seek qualification while the U-19 squad will also compete in March for a ticket to the final phase to be held in Wales from June 28 to July 11, 2026.
