Barça Licensing and Merchandising (BLM) continues to be a key revenue generator for FC Barcelona. After renewing the sponsorship contract with Nike in November 2024, extending until 2038 with average annual income of €127 million, the company has recorded significant financial growth.
From 2024 to 2026, BLM's revenues increased from €107.27 million to over €200 million, nearly doubling in just two years. This growth is mainly attributed to the expansion of e-commerce capabilities beyond Europe, which was previously limited due to Nike’s contractual restrictions. The relocation of the flagship store from Montjuïc to a shopping center near Spotify Camp Nou also contributed positively— in April 2026, the Megastore set a sales record for the fiscal year July 2024 to June 2025.
In 2027, a new store will open on the stadium grounds, with an area comparable to the current one. Located on the right side of the Tribune area, the store will have glass façades inspired by the Louvre, offering an extensive range of products for fans worldwide.
BLM is expanding internationally — following the opening of a store in Tbilisi in March 2025, the next location will be the large Istanbul Airport, a major transit hub between Europe and Asia. Additionally, a new licensed store is planned in Tenerife, Spain. Overall, the club operates 12 licensed stores and 15 directly managed outlets, employing around 450 to 500 staff depending on the season.
According to UEFA’s 2025 Annual Financial Report, Barcelona leads club rankings for revenue from shirt and merchandise sales with €277 million, significantly ahead of rivals like Real Madrid and PSG. The US market contributes the most from overseas, despite high tariffs, while sales in Asia, especially China, are limited by platform restrictions such as WeChat.
Top-selling items include jerseys featuring Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and collectible editions signed by Lionel Messi. Despite Messi’s departure in 2021, demand for club merchandise continues to grow annually. Barça outperforms most La Liga clubs in merchandise revenue and plans further expansion.
