Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is close to completing a one-year loan deal with Eredivisie side Ajax.
Earlier this campaign, Ter Stegen was loaned to Girona but suffered a serious hamstring injury that required surgery, limiting his playing time for the rest of the season.
His contract with Barcelona runs until 2028, but he appears set to spend the upcoming season away from Catalonia. This also clarifies Barcelona's goalkeeper situation, with Inaki Pena already departed and Diego Kochen expected to join Danish side Lyngby on loan.
