The Barça B / Atlètic side is suffering an unsustainable wave of injuries. According to the report, there have already been 11 serious injuries this season — defined as those requiring around three months or more of recovery. If all injuries and illnesses are counted, the total rises to 25 incidents affecting 18 players, figures that the club considers alarming.

The most recent casualties are Dani Rodríguez (a partial quadriceps tendon rupture suffered in last weekend’s match), Òscar Gisau (a muscle injury to the right biceps femoris; he had previously been treated for a partial meniscus tear) and Joan Anaya (about two months out). Staff note the problem has worsened rather than improved; Juliano Belle-i pointed out a silver lining that some injured players are already returning, but the club is calling for analysis of causes and responsibility instead of blaming bad luck.

Currently unavailable under medical care are 11 players: Víctor Barberá, Alexis Olmedo, Ibrahim Diarra, Landry Farré, Sama Nomoko, Aziz Issah, Eder Aller, Roger Martínez, Dani Rodríguez, Òscar Gisau and Joan Anaya.

Chronology and key facts on the major injuries (recovery times as reported):
- Víctor Barberá: tear in the posterior area of the right thigh, suffered in October — about 5 months out (current).
- Alexis Olmedo: partial tear of the external meniscus of the left knee, suffered in November — 3–4 months out (current).
- Ibrahim Diarra: muscle tear in the posterior part of the right leg (recurrence), suffered in November — 5 months out (current).
- Landry Farré: injury to the external lateral ligament of the right knee, suffered in November — 3–4 months out (current).
- Xavi Espar: injury to the internal collateral ligament of the right knee, suffered in November — 2 months and 3 weeks out.
- Sama Nomoko: anterior cruciate ligament rupture of the right knee with associated meniscus damage, suffered in December — around 12 months out (current).
- Óscar Ureña: fracture of the right clavicle, suffered in December — 3 months out.
- Roger Martínez: tear of the external meniscus of the right knee, suffered in January — between 5 and 6 months out (current).
- Dani Rodríguez: partial rupture of the quadriceps tendon of the right leg, suffered in February — about 3 months out (current).
- Òscar Gisau: partial tear of the external meniscus of the left knee, suffered in October — ~3.5 months out; later a biceps femoris injury to the right leg in February — ~3 months out (he has had the misfortune of repeat but different injuries).

Concern is growing at the club and in the medical team. Last season already saw an above-normal rate of injuries; this campaign has exceeded that, prompting calls to investigate structural causes rather than attribute the situation solely to bad luck.
