The club believes Manchester City might be open to negotiating a reasonable transfer fee for Aké due to the depth they have in their defensive squad. This potential deal aligns both with Barcelona’s sporting objectives and its financial situation, as the team aims to strengthen defense and attack while managing a tight wage budget.
Besides Aké, Barcelona is prioritizing other central defenders such as Basoani from Inter Milan and Van de Ven from Tottenham. Aké’s playing time this season has been limited, mainly to the Carabao Cup, which suggests City could consider his sale.
