FC Barcelona could re-enter the race to sign Rafa Leao as AC Milan has put the Portuguese winger on the transfer market. The decision comes after Leao's inconsistent performances and limited playing time under coach Massimiliano Allegri.
While not currently a priority, Barcelona president Joan Laporta remains interested in Leao, who has been a target for the club in past transfer windows. Milan recently extended Leao’s contract until 2030 with a hefty release clause of €170 million but is reportedly willing to sell for around €80 million or potentially less.
Leao has contributed 10 goals and two assists this season but often serves as a backup or counterattack option. Meanwhile, Milan is already seeking a replacement, with young Antonio Nusa from Leipzig reportedly their target.
For Barcelona, Milan’s readiness to sell opens a potential window to strengthen their wing position, although their current focus is on signing Marcus Rashford. Should a move for Leao materialize, it could significantly enhance Barcelona’s squad depth for the next campaign.
