Barcelona has shown interest in Borussia Dortmund defender Julian Ryerson and has learned the approximate asking price — around €30 million. The German club is open to selling the 28-year-old player at the end of the 2025-26 season.

Ryerson is performing at a high level, with 11 assists in 21 Bundesliga matches and two more in the Champions League. The defender also contributed four assists during World Cup qualifiers for Norway.

English clubs Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested in Ryerson. Additional attention to the player may follow after the 2026 World Cup, where he will represent Norway.

Ryerson's contract with Dortmund has two years left, giving the club control over transfer terms. For Barcelona, acquiring such a versatile defender with strong passing and stable defense would be an upgrade ahead of upcoming challenges.
