Barcelona has secured approval from the Catalan police to host 700 supporters from the former Grada d’Animació cheering section at the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Atlético Madrid. The fans will be seated in the Gol 1957 area, located in the lower corner between the Gol Sud and Tribuna stands, to ensure an intense and coordinated support atmosphere.

This is a temporary arrangement as the club has yet to receive final authorization for a full 62,000-seat capacity from the city council. Negotiations with key fan groups—Almogàvers, Nostra Ensenya, Front 532, and Supporters Barça—have taken place over several weeks to energize the stands and create a high-pressure environment from the opening minutes of the match.

The move is part of Barcelona’s efforts to inspire a comeback following their 4-0 defeat in the first leg. Bringing back these vocal supporters could prove crucial in pushing the team toward victory and signifies a step toward restoring the atmosphere at Spotify Camp Nou after a challenging period for the club and its fans.
