Barcelona continues its search for a forward this summer in case the signing of Julián Álvarez does not materialize. According to Spanish media, the club is monitoring new alternatives to strengthen their attack — Goncalo Ramos from PSG and Benjamin Sesko from Manchester United.
Goncalo Ramos offers attacking potential, although his output at PSG has been modest with 12 goals in 45 appearances over recent seasons. His representation by Jorge Mendes’ agency likely helps explain his emerging link with Barcelona.
Benjamin Sesko transferred to Manchester United only a year ago. After a slow start, he improved and also scored 12 goals in the season. He is viewed as a possible future option should Álvarez prove unattainable.
Barcelona had previously mentioned other names such as Joao Pedro, Mikel Oyarzabal, and Kroupi Junior as Plan B and C candidates. The addition of Ramos and Sesko adds further depth to the list as Barcelona aims to reinforce their offensive line for the 2026/27 season. No official statements have been made, and these remain speculations amid the uncertainty over Álvarez’s transfer from Atlético.
