FC Barcelona travels tonight to Montilivi (21:00) to face Girona FC in matchday 24 of LaLiga EA Sports 2025/26. The aim is to secure a win that would allow them to reclaim top spot after Real Madrid beat Real Sociedad 4-1 on Saturday.

Barça currently sit second with 58 points, two behind Real Madrid. A victory in the Catalan derby would once again put Hansi Flick’s side at the top of the table; if they win in Montilivi, they would record ten consecutive matchdays as leaders of the domestic competition.

The win would also help restore confidence after a heavy 4-0 defeat in the Copa first leg against Atlético de Madrid at the Metropolitano, with all goals conceded in the first half, a result that greatly complicates their chances of reaching the final.

Regarding availability, Flick can count on Raphinha, who received medical clearance this morning after missing the matches against Albacete, Mallorca and Atlético due to an overload in the right adductor. Marcus Rashford remains unavailable with discomfort in his left knee following a knock in the game against the Balearic side. Gavi, Pedri and Christensen also remain sidelined.

Squad: Joan García, Szczesny, Kochen; Cancelo, Balde, Araújo, Cubarsí, Gerard Marín, Koundé, Eric García; Fermín, Casadó, Olmo, De Jong, Bernal, Tommy Marqués; Ferran, Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Roony.
