Sevilla and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement this weekend for the transfer of defender Julia Torres. The Blaugrana club will pay 300,000 euros plus incentives, marking the highest financial deal between clubs in Liga F.

English club London City, one of the most important in the European scene, had also shown interest in the young Andalusian defender, but Julia ultimately chose to stay in Spain and at home.

Julia Torres, a 17-year-old center-back and Spain U-19 international, trained since childhood at Sevilla's academy, made her Liga F debut last season and will remain at her current club until the end of this campaign. After that, she will join Barcelona with a contract for the reserve team but integrated with the first team dynamics.
