In an interview with TDP, Aitana spoke highly of Lionel Messi, emphasizing his ability to maintain elite performance for 20 years. "What Messi has done is not just reaching the top, but sustaining it for so long; he's been at a top level for 20 years," said the Barcelona midfielder.
She pointed out the mental aspect as crucial to Messi’s endurance: "Football and generations have changed, and I don’t know any player like him, nor do I think we will. Staying at that level after achieving everything is extremely tough. Mentally and physically he is different, but the mental strength is where he stands apart."
