Barcelona goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny has spoken about the significance of Pedri's imminent return after being out for a month due to a hamstring injury.

Pedri is coming back at a difficult time for Barcelona following defeats to Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey and Girona in La Liga. Szczęsny emphasized how crucial the Spanish star is to Hansi Flick’s team.

"People don’t realize how much we missed Pedri during his injury. Even when we were winning, something was missing. For me, he’s the best in the world in his position," he said.

He added that Pedri controls everything: the rhythm, the confidence, and the team's identity. Now that he's back, the team can work miracles. With Pedri on the pitch, Barcelona becomes a different beast. He makes the impossible look easy, and with him, anything is possible for Barça.

Pedri is expected to be in the squad for the match against Levante on Sunday but will likely be a substitute as he eases back into action after his latest lay-off.
