Barcelona’s Spotify Camp Nou project is reaching its final stretch. Construction of the third tier is nearly done, with concrete structures poured across most of the upper sections, except a small part above the South Stand still unfinished.

Fans witnessed the rapid progress during Barcelona’s recent Champions League game against Newcastle, and after receiving the 1C licence, the club began occupying new seats in the Gol Nord area. The stadium’s capacity has now increased to 62,652 spectators.

Beyond the seating expansion, premium areas are taking shape. VIP zones like the “Pitch Club,” “Main Hub,” and “Mini Hub” located in the Main Stand are under development, aiming to create a cutting-edge atmosphere for visitors.

According to club president Joan Laporta, main construction is expected to finish by the end of this year, with roof installation beginning in 2027. This upgrade will establish Spotify Camp Nou as one of the most visually striking and technologically advanced stadiums in world football.

The project emphasizes Barcelona’s commitment to innovation in football infrastructure, offering fans an elevated experience for years to come. Keeping an eye on the final stages is essential for followers of top-tier football facilities.
