Joan Sentelles, head of the Espai Barça project, confirmed on RAC 1 that technical solutions are being studied to improve visibility for spectators with mobility restrictions in the Spotify Camp Nou stadium. Issues mainly concern seats in the side stand area, where improvements are planned.
Sentelles explained that it is impossible to solve visibility problems in tribunes such as the VIP sections due to architectural constraints. In total, 98 seats on the tribune level won’t see changes, approximately 200 seats in the lower tier can be improved, and those in the upper tier will have excellent views.
Despite the challenges, the team ensures that season-ticket holders will keep their seats and that stadium capacity will not be reduced. This reflects the club's dedication to balancing improved comfort with maintaining the scale of matchday attendance.
